VINCENT PELLIGRINO (Director) is an NYC based performer, musician, director, and teacher. Originally from Michigan; B.A. Theatre Wisconsin Lutheran College, MFA- Acting from West Virginia University.
Regional theatre credits include Greenbrier Valley Theatre (Chicago), Meadowbrook Theatre (A Christmas Carol), Midtown Arts Center (Mary Poppins), Broward Stage Door (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels/The Producers), and RWS Entertainment Group. Vincent directed the 2018 production of Ciao Bambino at the 13thStreet Repertory Theatre.
Ciao Bambino is a musical, written and composed by Elizabeth Turner. The compositions started out as a Music EP (Collection of songs) which debuted on iTunes in 2012. After being completed as a Masters Thesis, the show came to life and debuted it's first staged reading at the Midtown International Theater Festival in the Fall of 2016.
At MITF Ciao Bambino was recognized with an award for “Best Staged Reading”.
After a successful crowdfunding campaign, the show has a brief workshop at the 13th Street Repertory Theatre (Off-Off Broadway), in April 2018.
In 2019, Elizabeth along with Director Vincent Pelligrino and Music Director Andreas Häberlin, presented a musical concert of selections from the show with professional singers and musicians at Opera America.
